Charity Shave?
« on: December 09, 2012, 02:43:43 AM »
I got challenged into growing my hair out for about a month During the world cup then two days before the world cup final I will have a barbershop shave with straight razor I'm now thinking of doing this as a charity shave for Stand Up to Cancer and thinking of raising funds for them I'm also thinking I'm anyone has other ideas about wheither this should be a charity shave or not. I did shake hands to grow my hair out for a month but after the shave I'm staying bald for good

I think if you have a chance to use the shave for raising funds for charity.. then go for it.  My only thought is if most of the  people you would be "hitting up" for money for the charity know you as being sly for so long, they may know that it is not too much of a stretch for you to shave your head and feel less inclined to participate.  But it is for charity--so they may have a hard time saying no.     It's worth a try... you are going to shave it anyway, right?
