I prefer four or five blades myself. I personally like the way the ATX shaves (couldn't get the hang of the sport), though I can tell it's going to take a bit of getting used to the shaving pattern.

It comes with 2 of the HB4 cartridges. You can also use the HB6 cartridges. I think others have used the HB3.
