Hello Everyone.....
Saw the site and wanted to participate.
I was one of those guys hanging on...
I had long hair.... Back there hahaha
the longer it got in the back the worse it was in the front
widows peak got me.
So in the privacy of my guest bathroom (there is better lighting in there)
I took out the handy hair clippers
and made my move.
(dont ask why a guy with long hair had head clippers hahaha)
I knew that once I had the stones to do it it would be done
I'm settling into my new look as im sure many of us did...
Hope to be able chat it up with some of you and maybe even learn a few things about
technique ect...
I recently bought the atx and used it only cut myself once so I feel pretty good for the first shot at going to skin.
I became very tired of brushing my hair a certain way to "hide' the gaps.
time to walk onward and not feel like people are staring at my widows peak while working on them.
I have now noticed that after i took the leap
I can see tons of other guys who already walked in my steps everywhere I go.

I have spent the last maybe thirty mins or so checking out the forums...
That pic of me (avatar)
was taken a few days ago at right behind the shop
by a regular client who over the years has become a pretty decent friend :-)

Welcome, from another Floridian (Orlando area).
It's true ... you feel like you will be so conspicuous if you shave your head, and then once you do you realize you are surrounded by smooth heads. It's very reassuring.

Thanks for the kind words guys..
To be honest I did not have any fear of being bald
just the disappointment that i always kept my hair quite long
(would grow it to my a$$ often)
and that i would no longer be able to do that.
but I suppose I had a good 18 years of being able to grow it
I just could see it receding more and more on the sides and I did not want to deal with it any longer.
I kinda dig the "grey look".
I always get second looks due to the nature of my appearance,
Also use that as a way to acquire business.
So with so many Florida members here I can see where the sunscreen really factors in hahaha
I'm close to the Jacksonville area. -

I have never been into sports of any kind..
I think I may have watched one football game on tv in my entire life
