I would suppose that all of the white stuff on the ground around your picture is the dandruff you no longer have?
Life has its additions and subtractions, and the biggie for the last is, of course, mortality. But on way there, why not do your own thing?
Welcome to the hairless crew. That is, hairless above the ears. Below that there's lots of room for variety.
Ming plans to let his beard grow until it gets in the way of his shirt pockets. At the moment it's doing a great job of hiding his neck wattles.

Congratulations on having dealt with thinning unmanageable hair long ago. And it's not surprising that you experienced a surge in confidence - as many of us do.
What was the most surprising experience you had after you shaved? Reactions from others? Your own reaction seeing yourself in the mirror? Changes in your personal behavior - dressing better, altering your healthy living, changes in physical fitness? All are possible.
I hope you will post regularly. You are yet another great example of someone who took control and experienced a positive outcome.
Thanks Frontier Guy. The most surprising experience is that most people really liked the way it looked, including my Wife. I laughed with happiness upon gazing in the mirror. I liked what I saw and appreciated my new freedom not being tied to medical shampoos or worrying about how my hair looked. I hope that people lacking confidence from their hair loss shave and experience the same surge in confidence and make their lives happier.
