I love my morning cup(s) of brain lubricant. I too have a Keurig and love it. We bought a few refillable baskets that fit in the machine like a k-cup. You don't have to put in the gray basket thing that comes with it. It makes it much more economical.
I used to be a one a day kind of guy but now find myself having a cup when I get home too sometimes.

Coffee must be made from freshly ground beans.
Bold flavor
Hot.
I love the aroma.
Sometimes if the ground are not fresh, I'll just be for the smell and dump the coffee.
Time to make some now.

I love my iced coffee. I regularly drink Bustelo at home using my moka pot. The irony is that while growing up, I did not care for coffee, but now I am addicted.

Nice looking scull cap and beard. It is funny how the older we get the better we like and dislike things .
Never have tried a Moka pot. What are they?

Speaking of cowboy coffee, are any of you guys old enough to remember along with the freshly ground coffee and boiling water you threw in a pinch of salt and some egg shells.

I survive on coffee, fortunately my mother in law works for one of the best NZ coffee roasters so we get free coffee, yippee! Always freshly ground if I can, but I do have a soft spot for diner filter coffee from a chipped mug. I have experienced the bad side though, I stayed up for 3 days once to finish my final assignment for uni which was worth 90% of my final year, I drank a litre of espresso and had a seizure... Not the best choice I have made.

The old French people of New Orleans said the description of "good" coffee is: Noir comme le diable. Chaud comme l'enfer. Pur comme un ange. Doux comme l'amour. or Black as the devil. Hot as Hell. Pure as an angel. Sweet as love. It is made in a drip pot with very hot, but not boiling water. Should have chichory, and hot milk for au lait, never half and half or cream--and it is never served with the meal, only after!.

I luv me some coffee, too.
I'm not too picky about brands, just as long as it's caffeinated.
Here in Miami you can get Cuban coffee on just about every street corner. For those of you who've never tried it, think of espresso with a ton of sugar added. It's always a nice post-lunch pick-me-up.

Living in Louisiana, the coffee of choice is Community and it's addictive. When I was a kid, my dad used to fix me a glass of coffee milk in the morning.
As I grew older, I got away from coffee. Now, I drink two cups every morning and none during the day. Just can't bring myself to drink a cup in the afternoons like many of my co-workers do.
I do enjoy sitting on my patio in the morning when the weather is cool drinking a nice hot cup of Community.
