I was asked what's in it. Robmeister, I expect you to mix yourself one during your next shift. Here's the recipe.
2 parts Citron Vodka *
1 part Triple Sec
1 part Blue Curacao
splash of Rose's lime juice
All ingredients shaken and served in a chilled martini glass. Throw in a twist if you want.
* As you know, Ketel One is my favorite vodka (can't drink Grey Goose....it's French, political reasons) and is supposed to be sipped over ice. So, I'll usually make a Schrotini with a less expensive vodka like Smirnoff or Burnett's.
It's a flavor to savor with a neighbor.
Sounds good, definately a deviation from my usual Bombay Sapphire Martini...DIRTY, I get when at martini bars...anywhere else, just...

...thanks for the recipe Schro, look forward to ordering one up!
It's definitely a deviation from a good Gin martini, and it is a little more on the sweet side of life. But since all ingredients are alcohol (except for the lime juice), it does have some bite to it.

I gotta try a Schrotini soon! Sounds like a plan for this weekend.
RM, if you ever have someone order a Chocolate Martini, offer this instead:
2 parts Malibu Rum
1 part White Creame de Cacao
Splash of Godiva or any other chocolate liquer
Serve in a martini glass and line the rim or glass with chocolate.
This is called a Mounds Martini after the Mounds chocolate bar.
I don't claim this to be anywhere as good as the soon to be famous Schrotini, but it's a far better alternative to the chocolate martini.

No beer in the house, just wine. Give a review in a bit, neighbor on his way over to try one. (it's great when the ladies work late!)

I've never been a mixed drink kinda guy. I'll have a margarita if the wife isn't gonna finish hers, but that's about it. Since the Schrordinary American came up with this one, I may have to try it.
We'll see

You know... not to be a naysayer or anything, but if you change out the Vodka with Tequila, change the Blue Curacao with Orange Curacao (same flavor, different color) and put a touch more rose's in this it transforms into a Margarita...

Yeah?
If you put a wig on BaldRob, add some boobs, and change out his crank for a catcher's mit, he'd be a woman.

But at least I'd still have my looks...
