anyone ever tried to grow the hair back and for some reason just could not do it?

I tried growing it just on my left side real long,so i could have a really nice comb over.

I must admit, that I've gotten lazy before and went several days without shaveing the dome. But never purposly tried to grow it back.

Being bald was suppose to be a temporary, one time thing.  Didn't work that way..can't let it grow for more than a day.  Doesn't feel right...besides if I did try to grow it back there would be a few SBG's chasin' me with razors.

Like Tom, I've gotten lazy and let it go two days before, but I'm loving the SLY look too much to even consider growing it back. Besides, I'd still be bald on top.
