I selected the glasses that I did because I thought they would go well with a bald head.

Jules––significant improvement over your old frames. Those look more comfy and more stylish and provide a contrast to your shaved dome. Good choice!

I try to avoid appearing in public with my glasses:

Razor X I think you look just fine with the specs! They PERFECTLY match the color of your goat which is totally awesome and they even bring out your colorful eyes. So you get thumbs up from me! :-)

Thanks, Benlen.
Like you, I think black retro frames look good with a shaved head.

I've been "bald with glasses" for a couple of days now. My eyes are very dry at the moment and I can't wear my contacts. I tried today but had to take then out around 10the am and give my co-workers a rare glimpse at my specs.

Apparently I have a defective contact lens. The problems started when I opened a fresh pair on Friday, which was the first of the month. The problem was with the right lens. I opened up another one tonight and wore it for a while with no problems. So I won't have to wear the specs again tomorrow. It's been a long time since I wore my glasses all day long and it's been surprisingly difficult to get used to. After a few hours they really start hurting my ears. Guess I need to take a trip to the optician's this weekend and get them adjusted.

At least your colleagues in the office are favourable to the "bald with glasses" look. Certainly worth a trip to the optician's at the weekend to adjust your specs.
I'll be doing the same. Adjusted fine now to the multi-viewing experience of wearing varifocals. But, I want the frames adjusting slightly as the glasses tend to slip down the nose. Other than that, all fine with new glasses. I'm tending to wear them all day long, which I think is the generally idea.

Jules and Razor, you both wear the glasses well.....but ultimately, Razor, it's what you want and what you feel most comfortable wearing.

A bad part about me wearing glasses to work is resisting the urge to spoof an old manager. His look of intimidation was to bring down the glasses from the bridge and look at you from above the frame.

I wore my glasses to work on Monday and Tuesday. got a few comments, all favorable, no big deal. But on Wednesday when I went back to wearing my contacts, several people told me, "You look different today."
