Women's reactions (For us younguns)
« on: March 02, 2012, 02:24:14 PM »
Just wondering for the young people on the board - in their 20s/30s how women have reacted to your shaved head? Either women you've only just met, or ones who knew you before...

Better luck with them? Worse? I've always been pretty good at getting girls and I think it's mainly down to my confidence which can be excellent, and once I shave my head, I have a feeling it'll be even better.

well, bald is kickass :D
it kind of kills them, all the headrubbing and jokes. it's just perfect.
be who you are, say what you feel, because those who matter don't mind, and those who mind don't matter

Also, a bald head is a universal fit most times, not only can it look stylish and refined for fancier dinner parties, it makes you look more mature for meeting the parents and also can fit in at rock shows

It's all about how you carry yourself, man.  A man with perfect hair who is not confident and/or is a douche will always lose to the confident bald man.

It's only been a week and with work I haven't been out enough to see any difference with any new ladies, but so far the reaction from the women I already know has been overwhelmingly positive.

Very few dislike it, and a lot more have been vocal about liking it. I'm a taken man, so there's only one opinion that bothers me, but I have noticed more positive attention from both my lady and others.

Well, consider how many women have complimented you on or told you that your receding hairline and bald spot turns them on.  I think more women get off on a shaved head, a lot more.

This is the truth.

When I had long hair, women would play with it and braid it. Now that I'm (newly) bald, I've had a couple women comment on it and rub it. It's a conversation starter either way.

Much more about how you carry yourself I suppose.

It's what's in your head...not what's on it!
