Typing this from the app - I just downloaded. One thing to note is that it is a universal app on iOS devices. Having to purchase it twice for my two iOS devices was my main hesitation with trying it. With it being universal I can put it on both with just one purchase price

So how did you get it from one device to the other without purchasing it again?

You just "buy" it again. Since I already bought it initially, the iOS app store treats it like I am just installing it again.  I think the app store actually allows an app to be installed on up to five devices per apple ID legally.

Android-wise, the purchase is tied to your account.   As long as you use the same account on multiple devices you're fine.

 I like tapatalk and use it several times a day.  But...I don't like the tiny profile pictures on a site like this one.  I'm using the app on my iPad and even using the app's largest font (which I think increased the profile pictures a little bit) they are still so small as to be almost worthless.  I want to see the bald guys here and so I have to return to this site using a browser to see a decent sized picture.  A bit inconvenient!
