New, young and bald
« on: October 29, 2011, 05:46:40 AM »
Hello everyone,

I have been losing my hair since I was around 17/18. I have diffused balding (everything falls out evenly). Being almost 23, I am practically bald.
My father was completely bald when he was 24. One day I had enough of my useless hair and buzzed it off to about 3mm, that was about 1 year ago.
Now I buzz it without the guard and have shaven it with a razor a couple of times, unfortunately I keep getting irritation on the back/neck when using the razor.
So therefore I bought the Philips Headgroom yesterday and will be trying it out today.

This site seems really great and makes being bald look cool instead of a shortcoming :D

Thanks guys!

I tried out the Philips Headgroom and it seems like a really good electric shaver.
It might not get as close as a normal razor, but I get no irritation and thats what I wanted.

Try some witch hazel after shaving. That should help with the irrititation.

Welcome. I was terrified of being bald until I tried it. You found out a lot younger than me how great it can be. It's not a shortcoming anymore.
