Real men do NOT wear Crocs.

The opposite of which would be 'unreal men do wear Crocs'.

It would be a sad state of affairs if being a man was defined by the shoes we wear.

I agree.

Nobody ever said that Tom

Uh, yeah, they did. "Real men do NOT wear Crocs"

Maybe I read this wrong.

Hmmm. No, I dont think so...

I'm sure you read it correctly

I think he did too.

I got it...if you don't dress like me or the way I like, you ain't a man. Sounds like there are several "guys" that are very sexually insecure....Hummm?

I never said anyone had to dress like me. I never said anyone wasn't a man...... and I certainly didn't say anything in any way about sex. Looks to me like your reading comprehension skills are lacking.

Why don't you just hand me that giant spoon that you've been using lately to stir things up around here?

Crocs are ugly. If I have to wear shoes I like Vibram Five Fingers or flip flops. My preference has always been to just be barefoot. Went through college mostly bare foot  when it was warm enough. At my office I kick off the shoes as soon I get there. To tolerate dress shoes at all I buy them 1 size bigger so they are wider and less confining. I just dont get why AMericans like shoes so much and hate to see people out barefoot. WHen I was in Sydney Australia I saw many people barefoot everywhere. Stores, restaurants, buses, subway...it was great:)

I think this is a classic case of mis-understanding. Not misunderstanding, but mis-understanding.

To say 'crocs are ugly' is like saying 'humans are ugly', or 'girls with big tits have no brains'.

There are so many different Crocs shapes, sizes, designs, patterns and colours that its not possible to find all 300+ types, past and present, to be 'ugly', and I personally wouldnt wear any of the shoes, after looking at the site I might consider some of the Realtree patterned sandals/flip flops but thats about it is a completely contradictory sentence.

To say 'Jeez I really hate the type of Crocs that look like plastic boats with holes in because they're really ugly' is one thing, but to say 'Crocs are ugly' is an ignorant statement to make. Not in a 'you are ignorant' way, but in a 'you obviously havent looked at their website to see how many styles they make' way, or in a 'I'm assuming you havent given very many of their shoes a test-drive' way.

As for the 'real man' thing, I tend to think the way a man lives his life, his general demeanour, and the way he treats himself and other people defines him as a 'real man', and the shoes he wears on his feet are nothing more than shoes he wears on his feet. As the old saying goes, 'clothes dont make the man' is quite true, and is in the same league as 'you cant judge a book by its cover'. You dont need to wear a stetson, or bikers leather, or a Bandana, or an American football outfit, or a firemans uniform to be a 'real man'.

Many girls with big tits do indeed have brains, and many guys who wear Crocs are also 'real men'.

Crocs sells millions and millions of it's shoes thru it's outlets world wide so they must  be doing something right. I guess I'll just go for the 30 bucks and see for myself.

I doubt you would make the same smart ass remarks to my face. It's easy to hide behind the internet.

That comment about the spoon was made because as a Moderator on this Forum I've received two complaints
already about you in PMs.

Hmmm i have re read all the posts on this topic(thread) and either i missed a whole bunch or don't understand the response to the opening question. As i read it it said"Do any of you guys wear crocs shoes and if so how do like them"

Nobody who doesn't wear crocs or hasn't tried them shouldn't have answered.
what non-wears think of them or their opinion of them wasn't asked for.

if the thread had started hey what do you guys think of croc's then all reply's would have been valid

i may wrong but it's how i see it. it's one reason i don't reply more often sometimes the questions are worded so i feel i don't have a direct answer so i remain quiet instead of interjecting my opinion when it's not really being asked for

I'll have to respectfully disagree with you on this one Tow. Look at the first part of the question..... "Do any of you guys wear Crocs?"
That can be answered yes or no. Really, if Tom wanted the opinions of only those that wear Crocs, the question should have been more like..... "Can you guys that wear Crocs tell me what you think of them?" No offense to Tom meant here.

Splitting hairs a bit.... I know.
