As i read it it said"Do any of you guys wear crocs shoes and if so how do like them"Nobody who doesn't wear crocs or hasn't tried them shouldn't have answered.what non-wears think of them or their opinion of them wasn't asked for.
For all that have read or commented in this thread.....You'll notice that my original comments had "smileys" after them. This indicates a little "tongue in cheek" going on..... much the same as putting "LOL!" after a comment. In addition, anyone that has been around the Forum for any length of time knows that comments like that are my way of poking fun and delivered with no harm intended. Responding to those kind of comments with any personal attack wasn't really necessary, thus my agitated, and non smiley, responses.I will apologize to Tom, the OP, for my initial comments because I inadvertantly wound up steering this thread in the wrong direction. My apologies Tom.I'm going to suggest that this thread return to what was originally asked by Tom.

I've got 2 pair of Crocs and wear them in the kitchen and when working in the shop and similar activities. Not crazy about them when I'm doing alot of walking since the traditional style tends to slip on my feet. But they are incredibly comfortable when standing on a hard surface. Also, when they get cruddy they clean up very easily. I agree they are ugly - but they're on my feet and if anyone is spending too much time looking at my footwear there are bigger problems going on...So far as the "real men don't wear Crocs/eat quiche/etc" nonsense - real men don't give a damn about peer pressure and they do whatever they damn well please (so long as it's legal...)
My preference has always been to just be barefoot. I just dont get why AMericans like shoes so much and hate to see people out barefoot.
