my advantages and disadvantages

Well, it's not that hard for me.
Advantages: I had curly hair (bleah). no more hairstyles and so on
disadvantages: uwm, the winter season is approaching, so I'll have to wear a hat all the time. I'm cool with it
If you're wondering if it's a disadvantage for me to cut my hair (number 0 ) every morning, the answer is "NO". It takes me like 10 mins(after 2 weeks), and it will take me like 5 mins soon, and I'm cool with it

Here are mine ;

Adv -
1. If balding or thinning, going sly usually looks better than having visible bald patches especially if you hair is very dark.
2. No messing about with hair. I know a guy who wakes up 20mins before work so he can get his hair looking ok. No worries for us in this department. If you wear a wig or concelaers in your hair,all that hassle is left behind and you are free.
3. Can make a person who is balding look much younger
4. Brings out people's eyes. When I was sly I was told this often from people and complimented a lot more on my eyes than I receieve with hair.

Dis -
1. Typecast - as cool as it is after sometime I want my hair back and I feel I cannot wear certain clothes that I used to wear. I like a lot of retro-indie clothes and I have a military shirt that with a shaved head I felt I looked like a nutcase. With a shaved head, I didn't feel comfortable in black either for some reason. Known as the bald guy etc.
2. Winter - I tan ok in the summer but where I live the winters are hard and cold and that tan will be no doubt knocked off me in a few more weeks. 
3. Ears - I have large ears and they stick out more when I am shaved.
4. Older - Feeling that you look older and less attractive the younger girls.

I enjoyed Kevin's post...lots of things to ponder. I like wearing caps/hats when in the mood and if I don't feel like shaving I usually don't or do a fast electric job. It's all good, amigos.

funny thing - I never wore black until I went sly and I think alot of guys feel darker clothes are better with sly.

Black long sleeved shirt, formal black trousers ,with shaven head makes guys look younger and slimmer. I wear it for the occasion with a leather jacket.

I have been  thinking about this one  and here is a  few of my personal ones :

Advantages   :
 temperature related  air flow over   my  shiny dome  hot or cool
The feeling of  rain or snow  on my head  if its  cold  I wax it  shiny
I like the  feeling a gentle  self slap  or by another  across the side of my head and a big beaming smile  wen they  say , Slaphead  .
Going to the  supermarket  and hearing  guys  say  Slaphead 
Swimming  witha  freshly shaved dome
Feeling beads of perspiration on my head  in sunshine   while wearing a leather jacket or  a hoody

Disadvantages  :
 very cold  wear a   hat  or baseball cap

Hot sunshine  baselayer  suncreams and wear a hat
It just seems  a  pity to cover  it up and not show it

Being more easily recognised. In my new job, people coming up to me after only quickly been introduced to me a few days before. Think to myself: how come your remember me so well ? Then I remember: I'm completely bald. How could they forget ?

There is a disadvantage...

...learning to live with the bits you missed after you shave. You can feel them. But no one else can see them.

Dis. Shaving, I love the bald head but not the shaving part.
       A/C in commercial buildings
       
Adv. Love being referred as "the bald guy".
       Younger looking face.
       My wife says that i take better care of my clothing.  (must be because of my sly gay bros on this site  )

Advantages: I love shaving my head, I think I look great with a shaved head and goatee. Even if I could have all my hair back without the hair loss, I'd still shave. Being referred to as "the bald guy" never bothered me. The bald look is a very masculine one, which is why I love it. Looking back on my old pictures, I realize I looked kinda dorky back then. So I definitely like the new look. Also, I can lay down for a nap if I want to, and my hair won't be messed up when I get up. I can put on a hat if I want, and it won't mess up my hair.

Disadvantage: Really the only one I can think of is that I have to be extra careful in the sun, make sure to always apply sunscreen. That's really about it.
