Shaved Ice.
« on: May 12, 2012, 03:33:10 PM »
This weekend our town is having a Spring Festival. It's a small town. They line the RR tracks with vendor booths. Lots of junk food, sugar and fried stuff (I had shaved ice).  And crafts and builders, humane society etc.

The shaved ice vendor had his stuff with lots of food coloring, sugar, or sweet chemicals to pour on top. I said what do you have without food color, sugar or artificial sweeteners? You may have just the shaved ice in a cup.  It's $1 off the listed price if you skip the sugar/flavorings.  Excellent.

That was nice. Ah, good idea. Put a spoonful on my bald head!  Ahhhh!  Then rub it all over like shampoo. Whoa! That felt good. You don't get that feeling with a head of hair.  Another good reason to be bald. Shave ice on the noggin on a hot day!

Excellent post. Ice on the head is a huge bonus to being sly on a hot day.
My neighbor was helping me install a garage door opener this past Sunday, which was a scorcher of a day. At one point, I took some ice out of our beer bucket and rubbed it on my head. The look he gave me was hilarious, like he didn't know what to think of it.
