Dallas was HUGE here, as was Dynasty. Knots Landing too, but not quite as huge. There was also a similar show called Savannah which was popular here for a while but I dont know what happened to it. It seemed to have a very short life.
Back a page or so, Mr. Ming said Clarabelle isn't with us any more. i think The Captain (Kangaroo} left the stage about the same time. RIP
There was a Brit Com that was on for a few years called 'Allo 'Allo. It took place in France during WW2 and was very funny. Some old US shows that I remember: I Dream of Genie, The Munsters, Sanford and Son, Chico and the Man, and Three's Company
As for Three's Company - it was only a US show because it had been Americanized It was based on the UK's very own Man About The House, which was seriously successful here in the 70s, and spawned a few spin offs, including Robins Nest (Threes a Crowd) and George & Mildred (The Ropers)
