Since the topic of Brit TV came up, I'll add in "Yes, Minister" / "Yes, Prime Minister" and the whole Inspector Morse series as favorites. By the way, McVitie's Plain Chocolate Whole Wheat Biscuits are great. There's a store near me that sells them, but I can't bring my self to pay $5 for a sleeve of cookies>
Piggly Wiggly's are all over the place down south.
There's one British comedy that cracks me up..."The Vicar Of Dibley". There are so many funny characters and they spilled the beans that there are British Rednecks. And I understand it was on the air for over a dozen years. Good show, do y'all know it?
What are the earliest shows you can remember watching?
Best Britcom of all time: To The Manor Born.
For me it was Happy Days, Laverne & Shirley, Six Million Dollar Man, Bionic Woman, Wonder Woman, Incredible Hulk (I worshiped Lou Ferrigno), and reruns of the Brady Bunch, I Love Lucy, Bob Newhart, and the Mary Tyler Moore show, to name a few.
