Cake shaving soap

Anyone have any experience with the cake shavingsoaps from either Mama Bear or Ogallala?  Been doing some reading on another board and they sound like they might be worth trying.

i skipped the bar and went with a shave cream from the bodyshop less  in my area works better IMHO and clean up is quicker to.
