Just spent over an hour messing with the branches on a FAKE CHRISTMAS TREE! I swear my OCD has made my social life nonexistent  :-\

I haven't even gotten started on the lights and ornaments, I have a feeling I am going to be up all night.

Chill--it's not OCD, that's what the season is about, doing a lot of silly stuff to decorate, celebrate and get away from the usual order of things.  Tree will look fine because everyone will see it not as it is, but how they want to remember it.  Enjoy that.

When is it too late to put up a real tree?

My fiance is upset I didn't decorate.  She works and commutes far with only a few days off here and there...I work our home business, so a lot is on me to decorate.  I wanted to get one this Saturday, but now we have to take care of some automotive concerns...

I really don't want to go get one by myself, would be cool to take her and to cut it down and enjoy the whole process...

It is OCD, I ended up wasting another hour and a half because I moved some of the branches when I put the upper part on. Then I wasted atleast 45 minutes putting one strand of lights on, because I wanted the lights to be separated well. I looked at the box of ornaments and was like nope, I'll be up all night.

I have OCD and my doctor made a pretty big med change (3 meds to 1) for me and last night was my first time with out 2 of them. The whole time I was messing with the tree and the lights I was getting anxious because the lights are pretty old and the plug on is right next to some curtains and I pretty much convinced myself that the plug would make a spark. Believe me it was OCD... I just got done making an appointment with my therapist

Got my tree up and decorated the weekend after Thanksgiving.  Finished 95% of the shopping today at Costco
