Ive been shaving my head for like..2 months? i think. and I was just curious if any of you ever miss your hair. I'm getting to where I miss having hair. Don't get me wrong I like being bald too and I look good bald but i do miss hair sometimes and I know theres nothing I can do to get it back but do any of you ever feel this way?
I guess another reason I miss hair too is because it was less maintenance than being bald for me. Before when I had hair I would cut it rarely and washing / combing was easier and less painstaking than shaving my head ever was.. Idk I guess I just don't like the idea of my only hair style now can pretty much just be bald.

I used to feel that way but not anymore. It's normal to miss your hair in the beginning, but you miss it less and less as time goes by. Remember the reason that you shaved your head in the first place -- a full head of hair is no longer an option for you. So you do what you have to do -- keep your head shaved and work on improving other things about your appearance that need work and are within your control.

Nope...don't really miss mine either. To me the positives far outweigh the negatives. Never have to worry.."How does my hair look?" If u need to just get up and go somewhere...no worries about bedhead. I always usually kept a short haircut though...so i never had a whole lot to miss.

Not really. In the first year there were moments I felt a little bit strange like getting stuck to the dental chair headrest or scratching my head and there's something missing.
Face shaving was always like a burden to me, I never liked it and avoided it if I could. But now I don't want to miss the head and face shaving for a single day, despite the time and effort it takes.
Beeing bald feels as natural as can be to me.

I can honestly say I do not miss it at all. Especially when I was really thinning and was trying to decide which way to comb the remnants of my hair.

"Missing my hair" is what drove the urge to be free of what was left. I don't have hair to miss, I have a horseshoe, and I don't miss that at all.

Yes I remember those days. In 3 weeks I will be celebrating my 2nd year as

but yes in the beginning I had those moments. Just like you said it was less maintenance, but
you can always shave every 2 to 3 days. You can try that and see how you feel. I know that keeping it smooth everyday would be

but because of skin sensitivity and lack of motivation I don't shave everyday.

I can relate to what your saying. But i guess as Razor said, you shaved your head for a reason. Because you wern't happy with how it was, and that a full head of hair was no longer an option. Thats what i have to remind myself when i am feeling doubtful.. Which is often at the moment lol! But im sure it is common for newbies to feel this way for awhile.

I still miss it sometimes. However, in the 7 years since I started shaving regularly, the mild thinning that I had up top has progressed dramatically...to the point where I'm pretty much smooth aside from the mpb fringe (~Norwood VI), so I know growing my hair back to any styleable length is impossible. I also get what you say about the upkeep of a shaved dome; unlike most guys here, I'm not big on the whole "experience" of shaving. Lately, I've only been shaving slick about once a week, and doing clippershaves in between if needed.
