I don't kow about Cox but I have never had any problems with Comcast and I have nieghbors with the Dish that have had similar problems with the weather.
Good to know that weather is an issue with dish. Since I'm in Portland where it rains all the time. I'll stick with Comcast. Thanks guys for the tips on the issues with Dish!

I use AT&T U-Verse... while the quality and amount of service is about the same as both Comcast and DirecTV, the U-verse is so much better overall... whole house DVR, instant channel change (no delay when flipping channels), pause TV in one room and pick it up in another, etc.If you can get it in your area, I highly recommend it!
