  ive been shaving my face for months with the same cartridge and my head twice, its still sharp too
  
  I dry the blade and store it in a dry place to avoid dulling though.

• When I use the Mach 3, I get three decent head/face shaves out of it. To be realistic though, everyone will get different mileage since we all have different types and thickness of hair/beard and all of us are either in greatly differing stages of MPB or BBC. So you are going to get a whole range of answers to your question.
