I have DirecTV  - - -Never heard of the other'  again I am in the Northeast

I use AT&T U-Verse...  while the quality and amount of service is about the same as both Comcast and DirecTV, the U-verse is so much better overall...  whole house DVR, instant channel change (no delay when flipping channels), pause TV in one room and pick it up in another, etc.

If you can get it in your area, I highly recommend it!

I agree with Rob.  I was a Comcast user and used TiVo as my DVR.  I was nervous moving to U-verse but I'm very glad I did now.

Either is better than Charter.  Their customer service is NO SERVICE.  I really liked Dish Network when I had it.
