Do you ever get asked why you shave your head?

Never been asked: "WHY"

I have only been asked about products I use and  - - -how often I shave

I get asked many questions about my SLY melon. It's usually the same answer, "I like it and I can!"

since when i started count, iv been asked that question 18 times !

and its 2 months since i went sly .

i normally answer saying :

" i feel much more comfortable this way than what i used to"

(or)

"Nobody messes with the sly guy walking down the street"

This is my maiden voyage week and so far, noone has made a big deal of it, I've seen a few friends, and all they have said is, " Hey, I see your ready for summer." I tell them it's really cool and they say they are thinking of doing the same thing. I tell them go for it, it feels good.  I went to my barber to take him my left over tape for my rug, he said you mean you don't need it? So I revealed my new look from under my cap and he said oh good,  you look great, you have the perfect head for it.

I get the summer thing too, considering a fact that i live in a city where its summer 11 months a year and 'winter' is rainfall for hardly a fortnight.

I had quite a few people ask why. They were only people who know me. They all know I had a full head of hair. When asked I told them the truth. I had a flat top. Driving to the barber was time consuming and costly. I started doing it myself and got pretty good at it. I then slipped and took out a big chunk, I took the clippers and cut it all off. Then shaved it. I liked it so now I keep shaving it. I was already shaving the sides of my head because they were going gray but the top was still black.

People who I have never met before or haven't seen for a long time never ask.

I get told by most people that say anything that I should grow my hair out. I just tell them I do it cause I want to, and we move on to the next subject.
