so what are you waiting for??

Actually, Just want to give the wife a few days to get used to it. I am already thinking of a #1 this weekend instead of maintaining a #2.

Reasonable course of action.  How is she taking it over all?  Oh, and that #1, it's going to really make you want to "Go for the Gold" >:D

It looks a lot better shorter.   You have the same hairline that I did before I went with a rug.   I can tell you that it will look 1000% better taken all the way down to wood.   Right now you look like a guy who's losing his hair.   If you shave it you look like a guy who took control.   Sly is in -- its THE look.   Go for it - you can always grow it back to a #1 and look like a balding guy.

Pretty well, :) only thing she said "well, it just doesn't look like your kinda haircut". I never did do a buzz when I had hair it was always high and tight and just long enough to part. So I know what she means, but that is why I thought give the buzz a few days for her to get used to. Funny thing is my son who is only 2 1/2 didn't even notice it. I have heard people say about there young kids, that it would kinda scare them to see such a change but he didn't care one bit. No bad "vibes" from the wife though.

I don't have the hair for "my kind of haircut". lol

Use a #1 and buzz that doo down a little more.

That's great.  You are changing your "look."  Once you've done it, you'll get a "surprise" every time you pass a mirror at first--the total look is different.  I think most guys find that it makes them look either younger or more difficult to approximate the age of the sly guy.  Either way, it's a pretty confident look compared to the "old" you.  When hair gets that thin, it makes you look much older and somehow less confident, assured, what have you.
Kids have to be a little older, between 3-4 I'd say, before they get a sense of "possession" about the appearance of their parents.  That sensitivity is highest in their early and mid-teens when you embarrass them enough just by existing. >:D
You've made very impressive strides in a very short time.  My guess is that you've thought about this change for a while and are looking forward to the total shaved deal.  And that is a very good thing.  Please remember to have some sunscreen on that dome, even now--sunburns are uncomfortable and can lead to skin cancers--take it from one who's been there numerous times! :-\

That's what I was going to say.  You need to take the next step, IMO.

Who does?   ;D  That's why this is a redefining moment.  The whole concept of what is "your kind of haircut" is about to change.  Resistance is futile, just let it happen and enjoy it.
