You're going to get through all of this Todd.   Keep your positive attitude and just do your best to deal with all of these issues in a level-headed manner.  Someday you'll look back at this period and realize it all happened for a reason.

It is hard to believe that when you're going through it ....  Hang in there bro.

Back in 1988 or 89 my ex advised that she and the kids were moving to Florida so I have a recollection of what you are going through.

This is not a fun time of life but remember that you are not alone with it. There are the brothers in here who are supporting you because you are one of us. Then there are those of us who support you because we have been where you are.

During that time of my life I was certain that my death was imminent. 20 years later I am posting in a thread on SBG started by a sly bro who is in the middle of where I was 20+ years ago. Short version.....you will come through this. It's going to take time and it will be painful but the experience will make you stronger.

OH, Todd.  I am so sorry to hear about what you're going through.  Stay strong, stand tall and carry on.

Take each day one at a time and all will work out for the best even if it doesn't seem like it at the time.

Thanks for all of the support and encouragement.   I check back here several times a day and re-read all of everyone's posts.  I'm trying to take it hour-by-hour these days.   Every hour seems to bring a new challenge and a new heartache.   Trying to deal with the cards that I've been dealt.   I look forward to the day when I see a light at the end of the tunnel.

Take every day to appreciate what you still do have.  Remember money/debt/mortgages and all of this are just a number, and you can pull out of a business, move out of a house and cut your losses if you need to.  Your family and friends will still love you.
Use the energy you have and power through to new opportunities.

You nailed it Todd, we're all here for ya. I'm nearing what I hope is the end of a not so pretty divorce. PM me if I can help you in any way. Stay strong my SLY brother.

I've read, "That which doesn't kill us makes us stronger," but I'm not sure I believe this.  Life is full of abrasions, some are scratches, some are arterial blood.  Advice?  None, other than the ancient one, "This, too, shall pass away."

Wishing you well and strength.
