Hello everyone. I finally took the plunge and went sly. I have been debating about it for almost half a year now. I have been surfing these forums for over two weeks now and I must say everyone is great here. I wanted to personally thank everyone for all the information that you have put forth and the great help you have given me in getting to where I am now. I have learned so much from these forums and am not sure what I would have done with out them.
About myself: A few years back I had a full head of hair, then trimmed it. Then I trimmed it even more down to a #1 guard. Then just used the trimmer without a guard a year ago and have been doing that up until last night. I finally took the plunge and went all the way. I used a norelco arcitec electric razor to do the job. It did a fairly great job. I have that shadow on my head though and just a little velcro feeling but not much. I use a electric shaver on my face daily because I would get razor burn with normal razors on my neckline in the past due to having to shave everyday for my job. After reading all the information on here, I have decided to take the risk and try to manually shave my head. I ordered a bunch of supplies from headblade.com a few hours ago and cant wait for them to come in! I just hope the irritation and worries that came with my neck long ago do not happen on my head.
I am loving my new style and can not say enough about the great people on these forums. I just hope my fiance will start to like the new style. We have been together for 7 years and she has enjoyed my hair from extremely long all the way to when I barely had any. I then shaved it to nothing last night and she says she hates it. So Ill give it the 30 day trial and hope she turns

.
Once again thanks for all the helpful advice everyone and I look forward to talking with everyone on these forums!
Thanks,
Andy
