BREAKFAST.... yes or no
« on: September 24, 2009, 01:30:14 AM »
hello fellow chrome domes:  this topic was discussed at work the other day.  some of my co-workers skip breakfast... as they start their day (no wonder they look sluggish).  4 me... i have always eaten breakfast.  it is probably the most important meal of the day 2 get ya going. O0

so... how 'bout U?  do U start your day with breakfast?  or do U skip it or go without?
what's your story?

Always have breakfast.  With getting up at 4:30 and no lunch till noon, I would never make it through my morning classes without the needed energy.  It is something I push with my students too.  You can always tell the ones who did not have a good breakfast by there classroom performance.   We even keep items in our cabinet for those students who didn't get breakfast before leaving home.

I always have breakfast.   Coffee (2 - 4 cups) and either toast w/peanut butter (light) or an egg white omelet.

I never miss breakfast.  Normally have a whole wheat bagel with peanut butter or cream cheese and 3 cups of coffee.

I'm a mess without breakfast. I usaully eat a healthy parfait that I make myself and it tastes great. I also sometimes have low fat soup which is pretty good too (except today when I bought disgusting soup!

I feel Lousy without breakfast. I too have students!!! They are not very productive with out breakfast. Sometimes I make a standard egg sandwich and take it along for the ride to work. (30 minute commute)

Absolutely, weekdays, oatmeal--not instant--, fruit, oj, coffee & vitiamin supps.  Weekends, an omelet, or other eggs, coffee fruit. and the other day a smoothie from the gym.

Hate to go against the grain, except when shaving my head, but I hardly ever eat breakfast...compromise I make due to my longer commute. :(

My breakfast routine is pretty similar.

My breakfast routine is pretty similar.

I think it helps to have a routine--my mind at that hour in the morning, even after working out--isn't into creating a "new" breakfast experience everyday. :D :D :D
