I'm a night worker for the most part, so breakfast isn't all that important to my daily life.  But with football season upon me I'm working a lot of "early" weekends *early being 11 AM for me*, so I try to get some sausage biscuits from McD's on the way in.  When I really want to treat myself, I do bacon or sausage, pancakes or waffles, and scrambled eggs at home.

Our country demands all our strength, all our energies. To resist the powerful combination now forming against us will require every man at his place. If victorious we will have everything to hope for in the future. If defeated, nothing will be left for us to live for.

For me, it's hit or miss.  I'm not a big eater.  I eat because I have to, not because I want it.  Sometimes one meal a day is enough.
And I don't care what I eat.  I try to keep it healthy, but food isn't that important.

This was too good to pass up.  New Orleans is known for its restaurants and cooking, well, one day really soon, I've got to try this breakfast--I don't think a guy should eat this everyday, but once in a while, why not?

Yogurt with Kashi Honey Almond Flax cereal during the week about mid-morning but coffee early and often before.
How is that Hopey / Changey thing working for you?

Egg whites and wheat toast most mornings, sometimes with some Canadian bacon.

Camelia Grill was my favorite when in NO.  My daily routine is a banana, shredded wheat and yogurt with a Kashi granola bar midway to lunch.

I usually start the day with a large glass (usually from the freezer) of very cold chocolate malted milk that I blend myself and a bowl (also from the freezer) of Capn' Crunch with Crunchberries. PURE HEAVEN!.

Breakfast is critical for me, without it my blood sugar and appetite is wrecked. I'm a big advocate of yogurt and i'm not talking about that sissy dannon stuff, I usually have a bowl ( or a serving cup ) of greek strained yogurt, its full of probiotics and protein and you can find at any specialty grocery store like whole foods or around here we have mollie stone's. Sometimes I throw In a cliff bar or a whole grain english muffin with either natural peanut butter or almond butter but I've been a kick from this company called the peanut butter company www.http://www.ilovepeanutbutter.com/ and it's so freakin good. I also eat alot of eggs and I really like the omega-3 rich eggs, I usually have about 4 whole eggs 3-4 days a week and once in awhile I'll sneak in some corn beef and hash because Its one of my favorite meals period.

I forgot to add Capn' Crunch, my absolute favorite cereal of all time, it reminds of being 7 again and watching saturday morning cartoons :@`

Camelia Grill was my favorite when in NO.

You can return that to the present.  Although the original owner decided to hang it up after Katrina, a new owner worked and worked on him until he sold it to him.  It's fully restored, and except for Harry, RIP, it's the same, rejoining the ranks of the great eating places of NO>

O0 Glad to hear that.  I'll take breakfast at the Camelia over Brennan's any day of the week!  I did Brennan's once - nothing special except the $$$$.
