New sly guy
« on: July 29, 2009, 10:43:30 AM »
Hello. My name is Cliff from Newburgh Indiana. I started shaving my head about 2 and a half years ago. I started balding at a very young age. About 17 years old. I used to have a huge complex about it. Now I just see it as advanced genetics. Ha ha. Anyway I had beautiful long hair. I play guitar and long hair was in. When I was about 19 I decided to have a hair transplant. I only had 1 session and of course it laft a huge scar on the back of my neck. I didn't continue with it because my money dried up and other factors. I used to just tell people the scar was from a car wreck or something but now I am proud to share my story. Anyway I had a friend who started balding at about 30 years old and he knew of my plight. I didn't yet shave my head because of the big scar. I just kept enough hair to cover the scar but had a very funny looking and unattractive hairline. My friend encouraged me to "come out" because he knew there was a bald guy just waiting to come out. So I shaved and I loved it! It did wonders for my confidence and I scored with the ladies like you would never believe. Never mind the scar! It just gives me character. Well I loved the new look so much. And other bald guys were taking notice and saying :Nice haircut." They'd give me strange looks and hint around about a secret society. I thought they were just joking. Well no wonder I found myself here. I always have been a seeker. But really I was just so relieved when I shaved my head. It is the cure all for baldness and now I wonder why anyone would go through the trouble of hair transplants when bald is so beautiful. Bald IS beautiful. And that phrase never meant so much to me until I shaved my head. I do go through alot of razors though. But it is all well worth it. Look forward to seeing you all around.

WELCOME CLIFF!!!
To the SBG Family, and the best site on the www. Sorry to hear that you had to go through that pain, but in the end it must have been worth it. We've said to lots of people that if you just shave it and not look back your self confidence will go way up, and women love a confident man, more than they love a man with hair. So glad that you have joined us, there are alot of great people here with some great advise, so jump right in and make yourself at home.

Cliff, welcome to SBG!! I'm glad you decided to join.
People are not limited by the circumstance that they are born in. They are limited by the size of their dreams. Show them that their dreams can have no limits and in turn their accomplishments can be limitless.
