HAVE U ever called yourself...

hello fellow chrome domes:  the other day i misplaced my cellphone.  my favorite "trick" is calling myself 2 find it.   i know "kinda" funny but it works.    

i wanted 2 know if U have ever done it.  if U so  when was the last time U misplaced your cell phone & called yourself.  i know  i'm not the only one. what's your story?

Well I misplaced mine a few months ago...... couldn't find it anywhere and thought it got thrown out by mistake during the big office remodel at work.

So I went withoout a phone for about a month. I finally broke down and bought a new one because the wife was after me to get another one. Two days after I bought the new one, the old one re-appeared!

I've done this a couple of times, although not recently. Several of my close relatives have done it, too. In fact, I think I was originally the one who suggested it to my mom.

i do it all the time.

Sometimes I will have the phone right there in front of me.  No one calls me all day so I call it to make sure it still has a connection.  LOL

More than once, and I can say from experience, wait until late when everything is quiet if you left it on vibrate, that's really hard to find.

All the time, usually it's in my pocket but i keep so much stuff from work in there that i can hardly feel it. It's real funny especially if you have other people looking for it with you.

Hey Razor, I have never done it but  I do have a funny story. Years ago there were a bunch of guys renting across the street from us. So one night around midnight someone is pounding on a door that we never use. I finally got up and went to the door. I was one of the guys across the street, TOTALLY wasted asking me if I could call their house so they could find their cell phone!!

I tried telling him that he was just too drunk, go home and go to bed and worry about your phone in the morning! He wouldn't listen so I dialed the number and his girl friend answered and thank me and appologized for her boyfriend bothering us!

I like it when i put it in my front pocket with it on vibrate and email everyone to call me and i dont answer it ..lol

Well, I haven't called mine cause I misplaced it, but I have called it before just so people can listen to my voice mail message.  Everyone laughs when they hear it....
