I found this gem at Sally's Beauty Supply on sale. I bought the accompanying post-shave lotion which turned out to be awesome.
Ease of lathering: Decent. This cream takes a little mastery to lather. To elaborate, you basically need to add water carefully as you work your brush. You will also need a bit more cream per shave than say Headslick, as it's a bit thinner in texture.
Life span of lather: One of the better creams I've tried in terms of 'lather life-span'. I think the added moisturizers 'keep' the lather nicely. I rarely needed to add water to the cream while doing my passes.
Moisturizing: The aloe vera included in the cream keeps your skin nice and supple. When using this cream, some people will find that no post-shave moisturizing lotion will be necessary. As an added bonus, horse chestnut is included as a 'wrinkle-reducer'.
Lubrication: Average
How protective?: Allantoin and Seamollient in the cream keeps your skin safe out of harms way.
Scent: Very nice, complex and luxurious. I can't explain it scent exactly, but most will find it fantastic. It will remind you of a barber-shop shave. There is also a fresh scent of menthol that really tops everything off.
Price: I bought mine for $3 on sale. Normal retails sells this for $7-$14, which is average considering the amount of cream you get.
Would you buy again?: Maybe. I think this shave cream is well worth the money and preforms great. However, I'd probably try out another luxury shave cream first.
