She'll soon love it Stephen. When my kids are being stinkers I tell them I'm going to grow my hair back. They tell me i won't look like Shrek anymore if i do that.

Just ground her (force her to stay in her room) for a certain amount of time or have her sit in the corner for 30 minutes every time she gives you pelters.   When she asks why you are punishing her, say "I didn't raise a narrow minded child and you need to learn to respect people."  I think she will get the message real quick and leave you alone about your hair.  Sorry if that sounds brutal, but there is no better love than tough love.

This is a bunch of 'Hooey"..................

I agree.  why is it that its always the people without 'proper' avatars that express such off-the-wall extreme opinions?   :D

Ground a child, Bull Sh_t, just give her a hug, and she'll come around.  Kind of reminds me of my oldest who cried bloody murder when I came out the the bathroom having removed a full beard that was all she had known all her 3 years of life.  Children are so conservative, they really don't like change.  And before you get all guilty about it, she'll have forgotten it by the time you try to grow it back anyway.  Hugs, they're wonderful they cure all kinds of problems, but you knew that!

Reminds me of back in 1964 when my dad grew his beard out for a centennial celebration.  I  was 8 at the time, and I remember it was kind of scary and I didn't like it.  Kids are very attached to their parents (well, at least most of them are) and when that parent does something to radically change their appearance, it is kind of scary to the kid.  Like their world is getting turned upside down or something.  Funny thing was, after the celebrations were over and my dad shaved, I then didn't like the pale washed-out skin of his face! LOL!

I agree.  Children are very set in their ways. I hope GonnaB is just trying to be funny.  I can't believe someone would actually threat a child in that matter.  I'm giving GonaB the benefit of doubt. Hope I'm right!

Stephen,
My son is older, was 13 when I shaved, and all he did was kept trying to palm my head like a basketball.
He didn't really comment on the appearance too much, just drove me crazy with the palming thing. Even when I was driving. Eventually after punching him a few times he quit, but I don't think that will work in your situation.
Ya know, just a thought but you may have her rub dome moisture gel or lotion on your dome. Kids really like to touch and feel things, like she enjoyed the hedgehog feeling. Maybe she will approve if she finds some enjoyment out of it.
