Ive always gotten the looks from everyone, I just try to smile. I used to have a fairly large mohawk back in early highschool which brought out the same looks, and before that I had the LONG hair, same looks. Only difference is now when I'm driving ( since I am of German decent and have the Deutschland flag in my mirror and on the front of my car) people seem to give me real dirty looks. I realize I am probably not exactly helping the situation but it royally sucks that they jump to conclusions. I actually went into work today and had a co-worker say " oh my god I never realized it but your a skinhead, i watched American History X last night" naturally i flipped and stated... im not a skinhead.. im just sly .. kinda set me off for 5 minutes but i got over it quickly, just keep smiling. I am one of the most non-intimidating people you will ever meet.I'm 5'11 and 160. I don't scare anybody
At a whopping 5' 11" and 175lbs I too noticed the same thing. The thing that does work the best is just smile. I have 2 faces, normal face is more like a brood. Lines in the eyebrows, looks serious, I can't help it. Then I smile and my entire face changes.
