$1.00 a replacement bald x 50 blades per year = $50.00

lets say you  get 7 more shaves a blade....thats a 50% savings

$1.00 a replacement blade x 25 blades a year = $25.00

I was commenting on the wording and the sample length of the review.

I understand where your coming from cooncatbob, but users are only putting the razor in there for 5 seconds, and they are using a (from what the video says) some kind of silicone based pads, probably with a micro abrasive embedded in them, so the burr created can't be that much.....even a double edged razor blade has a micro burr on it......but if this gizmo can extend the life of a razor blade from 7 to 14 shaves without putting your skin at risk and giving you a good shave, them this product has some merit.

i use it on my cartridges for my Headblade and so far it is working.  Now as for 200 shaves with the same blade, I can't venture out there yet because after 2 or 3 headshaves, the aloe strip is almost completely gone.

The biggest cause of blades to go dull is friction and drag. As the blade cuts the hair over time it dulls. Additionally there is residue from shave foals and gels that adhere to the blades further dulling them. What we found is that if you use a really slick shave gel you will reduce friction, therefore allowing for longer shaves. Remember razor blades are suoer thin so anything will dull them.

As for the moisture strips, in my opinion, they are most cosmetic and you get better results from the gel/foams/oils/lotions you use to lubricate your face. The blade always lasts longer than the strip.

If you can get 2-3 extra shaves from a cartridge, you will sabe mega bucks over the course of the year. Look for a really slick shave gel that will reduce friction.

Such as Bald Guyz Ultimate Shave Gel... I really do think this stuff is from another planet, I live in Minnesota and even the black ice isn't this slick.

Since the e-bay guy screwed everyone out of buying one saying it was a Paypal issue,, but refunded the money,, I saw one at CVS while getting my flu shot so I picked one up. I had $20 on a gift card,, so I didn't "pay" for it.I'll post up my thoughts when I can figure out if, and how well it works.
