I watched the girls sing last night. Has anyone noticed that most of them are pretty hot?
Yea...I totally dig the little one that (unfortunately) just lost her dad...

I dont like her at all. Plus she isnt very versitle.....She might...and is say it loud again...MIGHT have a good body....but nahhhh she wont go far....i give her 3 more weeks and she is OUTTAAAAAAAA THEREEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!

We get up out of our recliners....pick up the remote....turn on the TV....turn it to FOX channel....drag out the snacks and sit for about an hour....thats how we watch it...sitting on our rear ends....
How do you watch it?? LOL

I'm not going to say anything because I have nothing but respect for my Sly Brothers, but I dont know how you guys can watch American Idol.
Well,,, here's the thing ,personally it caught me off guard that I even like it...but with that said I think what I like is seeing someone go through a process and get a bit of fame for it...especially if they are a talent that might not ever get a chance....you know the arm chair quarter back syndrome ....
....I'm just an out of touch old dude that likes to live vicariously through young hope full kids!

I think more for me its that I love singing Karaoke and wished they had this when I was of age. Lord knows I would have passed up some of the hole in the wall bars the band played in to go the instant fame route.
I haven't watched all the seasons, just the first one, the one with daughtrey and then taylor hicks. Not sure if I will continue watching this one......

She's this years version of Season 1's Nikki McKibbin.
I liked Nikki cause she had just the right amount of Rocker-Punk-Goth.

I was not a big fan of the show when it first started. But, I have to say that I have watched the last couple of years and find the talent to be much better, especially since they like more rock and country type people now.

Ohhh...big time I forgot to mention...
TIVO totally gets you through all the very lame (probably 90% of the show) stuff....I watch what intersets me on the show and skip most of the filler...which is most of the show

You don't even have to do that. Just watch the news on your local Fox affiliate the next morning. At least a third of the program seems to be devoted to what happened on American Idol the previous night. I have never watched an episode of American Idol, but I am still pretty up-to-date on what happens, despite not really wanting to be, due to the constant hyping of this program every time I turn on the TV. It is literally impossible to avoid this show.

OH...maybe it is..hell I dunno...cause I never watched season 1....pardon me but I really didnt think it did her justice..now I know why. But have you all noticed how many of them are from the Great Hoosier state? I think there is like 3 or 4 of them. And yes...teh rocker wanna be nurse is a Hoosier too.....

The reason that American Idol gets so much coverage on the Fox affiliates is because Rupert Murdoch sent a memo around to all the heads of every Fox affliiate in America and said that if American Idol did not get at least 1/3 of the total coverage of the News broadcast then he was going to sent out a mob of kangaroo hitmen,similar to the 'roo seen in Kangaroo Jack, to execute all Fox executives in the regional affiliate stations.
They took this threat very seriously.
