Hey there!
My name is Norbert, I am 45 years old and I am living in Germany.
Until now I have never thought much about hairloss and getting bald. My gray hair is thinning only very little on top and at the crown, still invisible under usual conditions.
Two weeks ago after having the monthly visit at the barber shop I decided to shave my head - just out of the blue. It must have been this special mood of change to get it done. Without thinking about the consequences.
And on a normal day I would not have even left my home to show off this naked head of mine.
But with a rush of adrenalin and other hormons I was really able to face all my colleagues and neighbors with my unusual "hairstyle".
I got some positive reactions - mostly from men. My female colleagues where either speechless and shocked or indifferent ... even they know this bald look from their husbands or boyfriends.
Until now I have repeated the headshave for a second time and want to keep it for a while. This is in totally agreement with that 30-day-rule you are giving on your website for beginners.
I can say that is a big difference to my former look with hair - but until now I feel good with. One problem was the whiteness of the shaved area at the beginning ... but now it starts to get tanned by cautinous exposure to the summer sun. This makes me a lot more comfortable with it.
And what could I say: I get familiar with that look. Growing a short trimmed beard meanwhile to have an substitute for the lost hair on top of the head.
I always admired that totally or male pattern bald look on other guys.
But I do not know if this is the beginning of keeping the bald look or return to having hair again. Here I hope to find some information about the right shaving and trimming methods and to have discussions with other members about their experiences and progress.
I post two pictures. One shows my with my usual hairstyl. It is an older pictures, now I am more grayish. The other one is after the first shaving.
