Should I keep my goatee?

Hi again,
I have been thinking about goatee, though my hair are not dark and not thick. The hair itself are thick, but they are rare, with spaces between them larger than I would like. Should I keep the goatee, grow it longer or shave it? I would like to hear your opinions.
Update: not much going on here, trimmed it few times because some hair were growing twice as slow. I don't like it because it's not thick, also I would like full beard better, but can't do it because of bald spots. So I shaved it and here are last pics. Will not try to grow a beard again for at least 5 years.

I say keep it for now, it looks like just a start. Lighter color beard hairs require more time and length to look full, since the color blends in with the skin. So I suggest you let it grow out a bit and I think you will be more satisfied.

I agree with Slybeard. Give it a few weeks to see how it is growing in before making a decision.

Looks like it's off to a good start. Give it a chance to develop a bit before making a decision. I think it will look great with a little time.

your hair colour gives your goatee less definition, but give it a bit more length and it will work better with your face

I think it's a good start, so worth seeing it through. Don't shave just yet!

Almost a week passed since my first post, the goatee is a bit longer but not worth updating the pics yet. I have noticed that my beard looks better when it's wet, because I guess then it looks a little darker and more shiny. Wondering if there are any products for beards that would make it look like it's wet?

You would have to put some type of grease on it i guess or dye it! I would suggest just leaving it as some can take a while to grow plus with regular grooming and shaping it will change a little.
