Thinking of gettin a second earring

I would like to hear your opinions
As most of you know I have one permanent piercing in the lobe of my left ear. It is a small gold hoop and it is not the kind that can be easily removed. It requires tools.
I was thinking of getting a second piercing in the right ear as well. But, what do you think? Is that too much? Is that over the top? Would it enhance or detract from the other other piercing?

I really like the look of a loop earring on each side. I'd say to go for it.

I don't think it would detract from the other one.

Why not? Nowadays, it's more common to see two earrings instead of one, anyway

I like the asymmetry of one but I think a second in the right would look good. Definitely not too much.

Go for it! I wore two for awhile and it worked well.

A small loop. Like that on the other side would look good. Like Mike, I like the asymmetry on men.

I wear two small hoops, one on each ear. I like the symmetry of it and I think it looks good with the bald and bearded look. I have gotten compliments with the look.

Yup, that's what I'm talking about. A great look.

I would definitely get the other ear done. Why not get both done so two hoops in one and one in the other, you could certainly pull it off

Well, that is an idea. That way I would have jewelry in both ears and still have that asymmetrical thing going on that Mike talks about.
What do you guys think of this idea?

I have done that in the past, albeit I wore two hoops in the left ear, but none in the right.
Could work, but my opinion, one hoop in each ear looks better. You could give it a shot and if it doesn't look good just take out the second one on the left ear.

I agree with the symmetrical look of one hoop on each side. However, you might want to try the asymmetrical look and see how you like it. You can always take out the second hoop if it doesn't look right.
