Real simple memory of my Grandfather that passed away when I was 15 months old. I was reaching to take his cigarette out of his mouth...after that, my memory goes blank until I recall my Grandmother telling me I was 2 after I asked how old I was...then my memory is good from my 3rd birthday party on...except for those nights out drinking with BaldRob!

the earliest age that i can remember was when i was 3 years old. my family & i were living in long beach, cali @ the time. i was playing with this package of hot sauce from taco bell. u remember.... it was plastic & similar 2 the size of an ice cube. anyways... as i was playing with it. i punctured the hot sauce & it all squirted in both eyes & i can only remember the incredible "burning" sensation that it gave me. i thought i was going 2 b blind. i was crying my a$$ of when my parents horrifically saw me crying & were scared because they thought the red stuff coming out of my eyes were blood. 2 there amazement they started laughing there @$$es off because my parents realized it was hot sauce.

Good topic Tim.Good posts everyone,I've enjoyed them all.
My earliest memory is when I was about 18 months old and I remember my mom used to carry me in a baby pack sling across her back. While walking down the sidewalk , I remember her slipping on some ice and my poor skull broke the fall on the guardrail next to the street. It all happened very quickly and I was lucky that I didnt die. I think I received about 10 stitches.Dont remember that part.
Still have the scar to this day, faintly noticeable.

Tim My head is quite a unit. Not only is it very big but I have had some of my Polynesian friends comment on how hard it is.In case you didnt know,Polynesians are reknowned for their extremley hard skulls.
Which is why if you are ever in a fight with one, never ever go for their head. I've seen a full champagne bottle broke over the top of a Samoans head and not only didnt it faze him but it didnt even break the skin.

I miss those old school hot sauce packets from taco bell, for some reason those tasted better than the stuff they got now.

One of my earliest memories is of when I was playing outside with my cousins and my aunt got stung by a bee. They then got mud and rubbed it on her arm. It left such an impression on me that I developed a Big phobia of bees. If one comes near me I panic. Luckily though in all my 50 years I've never been stung. My cousin got stung by a wasp once and he said it felt like somebody stuck him in the chest with scissors.

I'm also bee-phobic Don, I've made it almost 30 without a bee sting. I have been nailed by a wasp before though. I'd compare it to a dull red-hot thumb tack.

Whilst you're at it could you add mosquitoes to that list?
