I have been sporting a full beard now for over 6 months. But I keep it trimmed very short. I trim it down once a week and shave the edges. I leave the mustache and lip beard longer than the rest of the beard. That way I have full coverage but no "straggly" look. My beard is "salt and pepper" and I think that it looks better that way.

Thank you for your honesty. I am leaning more that way as well.

There is a product called SilkWorks that softens the beard and makes it more manageable. A few drops are all it takes. I don't care for the scent but it does a good job at calming the beard down when you're trying to go longer.
Ksshane, your beard looks great. It's hard to be patient during growing-out phases. Anytime you are tempted to trim, remember the 48 hour rule. If you still want to trim after 48 hours, go for it.

I tend to keep my beard trimmed reasonably short but I do think your fuller one looks great. Heed RazorX's words.

Sorry DoberDaddy. I am traveling across the country in my old RV, on my way to Burning Man), Have limited computer access and skill. I tried to take a "selfie" with my phone but the computer won't let me attach it to this posting.
