Hang in there bro, don't give up. Things happen for a reason, perhaps your real dream job is still waiting for you and you just have to find it.

Sorry it didn't work out, RM. But things happen for a reason -- and I personally believe that things have tendency of working out for the best, even though it may not seem like it at first. Hang in there.

Hey Rob, sorry to hear things didn't work out like you'd hoped. Things do happen for a reason, and you probably will see it one day. Hang in there and keep plugging away and things will work out for you. Keep it moving, forward progress, and keep ya head up, bro!

Hey Rob, keep pushing.
I saw this short movie yesterday and thought about you (but it also applies to everyone I know).

I guess that is what happens when I DONT read ALL the post......sorry about that Rob....like everyone else said....it happens for a reason. Tough to swallow....but you will see it someday. Its their loss....not yours. Just keep on searching...............it is just around the corner....yeah right....how many corners do you have to go around before ya find it? ....my luck I would be on a street that just goes in a circle...with no corners.

Rob, I read through the entire thread. Maybe all is not lost. Larger departments obtain a hiring list off a test that they give about every 2 years. The testing process is obscenely expensive. What they do is hire groups of people off the existing list over whatever period the list stands. So if you didn't get hired this time you may be slated to be part of a group that gets hired later on off the same list. I'd call HR at JeffCo and see if that is the case.
In any case, good luck with the quest. You'll have lots of good bedtime stories that will keep the grandkids from getting to sleep.

Hey Rob,
Lost track of the thread for a while... sorry to hear about the set back bro.
I think this will be just a brief pull-back, regroup and new plan of attack for you!
