You'll get lots of recommendations ... a frequent one here is for
St Ives Apricot Scrub (about $4 for a tub at Wal-Mart, for example). Good texture and pleasant feel and smell. I'm quite satisfied with it.

HeadShed.
+1
This is good stuff IMO. Is gritty enough without being abrasive and it has a pleasant smell. Check out a Publix grocery store in your area. They usually carry it there. Hope that helps!

I use Clearasil "Deep Cleansing" exfoliator twice a week. Most pleasing results. Not sure if you get it there...

Another shout out to St Ives apricot here. I just recently tried it for the first time, and I loved it. Not too gritty. Leaves my skin feeling great. Like FG said, it can be found on the cheap side.

Another vote for the ST. Ives. Do NOT buy the generic brand... I tried that and it is NOT the same.

Headshed by Headblade for me. In fact it is the HB product I like the most.
King of shaves also carries some nice products, including exfoliants

I'll agree that HeadShed is quite good also. I've got a couple of bottles and use it now and then to break up my routine.
But as I've acknowledged elsewhere, I am a frugal FrontierGuy (some accusations might term it miserly) ... and St Ives (10 ounces for $4.88 including tax at Wal-Mart) versus HeadShed (8 ounces for $8.41 on Amazon with free shipping) ... well, there's not enough difference between them to justify the 100% price difference (49 cents per ounce vs. $1.05 per ounce).

St Ives has 2% salicylic acid which is a key ingredient for the best skin cleansing. I use it on my face too. Have tried many products and the best always have 2% salicylic acid for cutting through oil, dirt and renewing the skin with a bit of aggressive cleansing power. I tried more expensive products with no salicylic acid and they dont work at all.
