Hi guys, after a few months of doubts, I finally go smooth. The feeling is awesome, but i have a dark shadow.

Congrats! Did you shave both with the grain AND then against the grain?
This will give you maximum smoothness with the least amount of shadow. -

I have several friends who have a dark shadow - and the look works for them just as well as "no shadow" would. I think the same is true for you.

I find it better then the buzz, but like I've said I'm biased.
Good luck with the 30 days, hope you'll keep the look.
Regarding the shadow... I have it too, but everybody can notice that my dome is shaved.
Bottom line: wear it proudly because it does you justice. -

The shadow effect largely depends on the combination of skin tone and hair color. If you want to to try and lessen yours, getting some extra (of course, not too much!) sun on the noggin is your best bet. Have you shaved against the grain yet? That could help a little bit. Hope you decide to keep it!

Congratulations and welcome. Don't worry that you have a shadow, be happy that you are young enough that your hair is still dark enough to make a shadow!

Yes, I tend to have a shadow, too, but I like the bald look so much better that I'm OK with the shadow. BBC. The way to go.

Congrats on taking the last step to smoothness. I wouldn't worry about the shadow. As I've said before; it tells me I'll be shaving again tomorrow.

Thx for all your comments, im really happy with this decision.
By the moment im shaving my head with the grain, because I have a sensitive skin.
I hope that the shadow will dissapear with some sun exposition ... with protection, of course.
