Lots here in Central Florida - but it's hard to know whether they are residents or tourists. Regardless, it's great to see lots of Sly Guys in the area.

My theory is that us sly guys constitute a certain percentage of the overall population, let's say 20%. That being the case I would think that the city/state with the highest population would have the highest number of SBGs.

My "perception", completely un supported, would be California. I don't know why, its just an outsiders wild guess. Perhaps as I see California as a very "liberal" state, but I am speaking out of my depth here...

You are right about CA being liberal, but slyness has gone mainstream for the most part. I deal with individuals from the most conservative professions, from lawyers to accountants to bankers and even politicians. All have their share of sly guys, though I will say that politicians might be the least likely to go sly.
Also, on a separate but related topic, I had lunch with a friend of mine who is a 60-something partner with one of the large regional law firms (very conservative firm). He kept commenting on my new look and how great it was.
To the original question, I would guess that the geographic area with the highest % of the population who shaves their head would be states that are warmer year round, but I see an awful lot of shaved heads all up and down the east coast when I travel there. They just wear hats when it's cold.

Hmm Bucksfan, interesting... Perhaps I err by equating Sly with "liberal". If conservative people are doing it, then it proves that going sly is not really connected to being “liberal” or “conservative”, but rather to a simple choice of hairstyle. And that perhaps is how it should be...

Sly, in the past five to ten years has moved beyond an "edgy" thing to do for mpb, or as a matter of choice for BBC. Two years ago I did a lot of work in Atlanta. At that time I found it had more Sly domes than other cities at that time, including NYC. But what has always amazed me in my slick scraped grape existance of nearly five years is the number of sly guys traveling by air. I can't remember the last flight where I was the only sly guy on board. Airports, the food courts, TSA clearing areas, etc., sometimes look like there's a convention going on.
Except for gyms and health clubs, I'd say that airports are the places where the demographics really show sly is totally mainstream.
