There's something about baby oil that gives me the willies. I dont know what it is, but as soon as I rub it onto my skin I feel like I need to drive to the nearest car wash, get out of the car and put myself under the brushes. Eww.
It's the oil, not so much that it's baby oil. Wal-Mart has a brand Shave Secret, and I'm sure if you run a search for shaving oil there's a brand in the UK--it gives some extra lubrication. It's washed off anyway with the soap content of the shave creme, so you can save the car wash and possible arrest for odd public behavior.
