Welcome, Skeeterbill.
Headblade makes a glossy Headlube that many here will recommend.
But you can get a natural shine that will work as a stand-alone shine OR enhance the Glossy Lube.
I don't use a glossy...but here's what works for me.
Proper scalp care and preshave routine found here:
http://ezinearticles.com/?Heads-Up---Ten-Techniques-For-Safely-Shaving-Your-Head&id=118560In addition to that I use an exfoliant cleanser before I shave
I also finish my routine by sticking my head in the stream of COLD water in the shower. Really closes the pores and tightens up the skin. You don't have to shower your whole body in the cold water....just lean over and do yer head......very exhilerating!!

Welcome to the world of the sly Skeeterbill, glad to have you with us. Like Robmeister, I don't do anything extra to enhance the shine other than the exfoliant and cold water Rob recommended. That alone seems to let the natural oils of your head give it the shine. Many here though do use the Glossy HeadLube.

Welcome Skeeterbill. I'd go with the cold water rinse at the end. The HeadLube Glossy will also help you get the shine you so desire.

Sorry to disappoint you guys. The name just comes from an old pet. Getting ready to lather up my head and give it a fresh shave. Keep it smooth!
