Hey Guys ,
As you can see from my photo I have tried the bald look before. I went for a long while and I let my hair grow back and naturally have all my hair back , thick and unruly, I look a cross right now between a chia pet and troll doll LOL .
So I have all my supplies still that I bought from HeadBlade and thinking about getting rid of this thick hair. So here's my question , How do you keep your head protected and be bald and not frozen during the cold winter months ? I live in the U.P of Michigan.
Also do you think it is crazy that I want to shave my head when I have a full head of thick hair? Maybe I am not right for a shaved head ?
#1--for you it's a hair "style."
#2--you'd keep your head warm just like you do with hair in a severe winter area, wear a hat appropriate for the temperature.
#3--if you like the sly look, it's right for you. Who knows, time marches on--your hairline may catch up with what you like!

Excactly - and when your hairline doesn't catch up with your likes, just keep shaving - and so do I ;-)
Hey
If my hair follicles were functional, I would let them function
So, in your case, what's your preference?
Also, if you do it, I would recommend, in the summertime
Michigan in winter....get a warm hat
dodger
I keep it covered(from Wisconsin) when need be...but if I have to go a short distance, I sort of like that short blast of cold on the dome!!!
Get one of those.
THAT is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen!
I'd say for you being in U.P., you'll want the polar fleece cap. A wool watch cap looks nice, but can be itchy. Besides, it won't keep out a strong wind. The polar fleece cap is probably the thing to wear. If you're not a fashion slave, you might also try one of those old style fur lined (or fake fur) hats with ear flaps and the stap that either goes on top our can snap under your chin when the ear flaps are down.
Here's a link to one I found on-line. It's at LL Bean, but the link is through nextag
