Cheers!

wow... that's more planning then I did for my wedding... javascript:replaceText('%20:o',%20document.forms.postmodify.message);... I just take what ever cream or gel I happen to have (what ever was on sale) or soap if I ran out, and then just shave it off using the same raz I just shaved my face with... (what ever on sale also.. but the name brands) They norm last 2-3 full shaves... If gone near a week then will buzz it first at #1 to lower it first. And I do have a thick beard & large thick horseshoe ... but i guess my skin is use to it... I sometimes throw some good old fashion rubbing alcohol on it.. don't know why tho... javascript:replaceText('%20:/O',%20document.forms.postmodify.message);

Hello guys!
Saturday morning here
Well bad news and good news!
Bad news is I haven't gone sly (yet) - will explain after the good news.
Good news is I've buzzed it with no guard
it's feeling nice and fresh, for my surprise I wasn't surprised or in shock after seeing myself on the mirror for the first time (it was my father who buzzed it for me with no mirror in front of me), the first thing I said was something like "I look better than I thought! and hot too ahahaha"
So, why didn't I went sly? Well, my hair is very oily and due to that I always had some pimples here and there, so I'm waiting for them do clear, I think 2 or 3 days and it will be ready for a shave.
So, "pic or it didnt happen!" Sure!
Heavy metal \m/ heheh
I will post a photo with better quality after shave it all!
Cheers!

You're half way there,dude.
You have the right look to become a full sly....
Once you go sly, you'll never look back.
I became a sly in 2005,but am a new member here.
You started off with the best gear to go sly, unlike me,who always used gels and regular shaving blades.
Welcome aboard,
Yohai.

Hi Marty!
Thanks! I'm enjoying it a lot! I only get compliments
Unfortunately I haven't had the opportunity to shave it, I still have some pimples especially on the back. In hopping for it to go away I'm using an Hypo allergic Cleansing Gel, I'm hope for it to go away quickly. Meanwhile I'm buzzing my hair from 3 to 3 days with a beard trimmer without guard, it looks great but I definitely want to go all the way down!
I will keep you updated
Cheers!

'lectric shave is the way to go, imo!
I just switched over and couldn't be happier!
Panasonic wet/dry w/linear motor.... ES8103S
I was a mach3 guy forever and couldn't really shave more than every 3 days due to skin irritation.
Now every morning I shave with the electric, for that always shaved look.
I also have yet to use it wet, I'm very happy with the dry results and it's much easier that way.

Hello Ivan!
I’m still waiting to go sly due to some pimples which decide to cover my head, fortunately they are clearing out. A good electric shaver would be great right now, since with those pimples using a razor (Fusion) it’s clear to me that I would cut me badly. I have one electric shaver but it’s far too old, from the 80’s I think, I’ve stop using it because it irritates my skin, so…
I want to buy an electric razor for those days when I’m in a rush running out of time which I consider it to be major danger to go and use a razor, especially because when that happens I’m always half asleep. I do want to avoid Panasonic at all costs, I have had some problems with their products and due to that I had to contact the customer support, well I’ve no words to describe it, at least here where I live it’s terrible…
How long does it takes you to shave your head with the electric razor?
Does anyone knows if the Braun Series 7 - 790 is worth the money and if it is dry & wet? Can’t find any info regarding to that, the only D&W I’m founding from Braun is the Series 3 - 380.
Cheers!

Yes -
shaving in the shower vs the sink
is soooooooooo much more
convenient (quicker clean-up too), but an
ESSENTIAL TOOL that is a must-have is a
hand-held MIRROR (or you can spend a bit more and get the one of the deluxe fog-free shower models that attaches to your glass door or tile walls w/ suction cups).
Either way, I think it's a must-have-especially for
beginners because you
NEED to see what you're doing and where you're shaving. Putting sharp objects against your head and moving it in all directions is nothing to go at
blindfolded!!
- Cap'n Noodles - By the way, Miguel - Congrats on your new look - SLY look looks fits you well!!

Went sly today
Started with the Fusion but after messing arround for 10/15 minutes I couldn't go on, it was really awkard for me, so I changed for the electric razor and it took me around 5 to 10 minutes to finish the job. I really can't feel any difference between parts of the scalp where I shaved with the Fusion and the rest with the electric. I have no irritation at all, so far so good hehe
Cheers!
