Well...I am keeping at it....I weighed in this morning and I am down 28.3 lbs over when I was at my heaviest. That feels good, and I am physically feeling better!

Feeling better is what we all seek. It is the best medicine (drug) ever.

Way to go Mike! Steady weight loss weekly goals and weigh-ins seem to be working for you... I would guess that your overall goal of 195 lbs is like taking on remodeling a whole house. If one starts and finishes one room at a time, like your weekly goals and weights, the progress speaks for itself.
Like going sly, if you feel better, and better about yourself, everything else tends to work out.
Take care, and keep up the outstanding work!

I've started back onto my "low carb" diet.....
I'm a huge IceCream fan... to statisfy that craving... I've found Kroger's has a "Carb Smart" Yogurt... Only 1.5g Fat and 4g Carbs.... and they are cheap... 2 for 88cents at my local Kroger...

Just wanted to check in since it's been a little bit.
I am still walking every day as the weather allows....generally getting about 50-60 minutes of moderately brisk walking. I'm still watching what I need, and I'm slowly progressing. Fudged a bit over Memorial Day, but I'm back on track again.

Tom....here is the site that was the most helpful to me regarding carb control. If you follow the plating guidelines you don't have to be that careful about carb OR calorie counting.
http://www.extension.uidaho.edu/diabetesplate/index.htmlI have type 2 diabetes, but the meal plan is healthy for anyone and it uses real food....that's always helpful to me. I can't stick it out on the prepared stuff. My budget and my taster just won't take it.
